Fantastico error installing phpESP

I host a few websites in return for a link to this site and the odd free pint of beer. If this is you, ask any support questions here

Ok, we'll look into this issue as well. Seem to have a few niggles with the server lately. Hopefully we'll get them fixed soon :)

Fantastico is back but I get a message "This application is currently not available. Please contact your host.
" after clicking on any of the applications down the left hand side.

This is more important to me now as my Wordpress install appears to have been hacked (again) and I was looking for a patch.

Fantastico now confirms that I have a WordPress installation (2.5.1) and allows me to start the process of installing phpESP. It prompts me for userid details etc but when I click on finish I get

Code: Select all

The resource cannot be displayed
The resource you are looking for cannot be opened by your browser.

Please try the following:

Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.

HTTP Error 406 - Not acceptable
Internet Explorer
At the moment though it might not be Fantastico with the issue. Just looking at Fantastico I've had a downloader virus notification from Symantec Antivirus for wp-stats[1].htm which I believe points agin at my WordPress install having been hacked. I need to find where the hack has happened and remove it but it's not proving easy at the moment.

Does Fantastico 'read' the existing files on a site to find out what's there and hence triggered the downloader?

If you have been hacked and have yet to remove the hack then we need to address this urgently. Please send us a support e-mail and we'll take it from there.
