This is not a big deal at all, but I'd like to add a small black border around all the mouseover spans to define them a little more so I was wondering if it'd be possible to include a class for that in the next version?

Right now I just see this so I think I mean the span above the event-title that just has the BG color:

Code: Select all

		<br />*
		<span class="calnk"><a href="#" style="background-color:#FFFFFF;">Lunch
			<span style="background-color:#FFFFFF;">
				<span class="event-title">Lunch</span>
				<br />
				<span class="event-title-break"></span>
				<br /><strong>Time:</strong> 12:00 pm<br />
				<span class="event-content-break"></span>
				<br />Yum :)

Default Link

Unread post by mktfresh » Tue Oct 12, 2010 7:58 pm

It would be nice if we could set a default link for the widget. So that when no link is applied to an individual calendar entry, it will go to the calendar page. And going even further with this idea, it would be nice to have the option for all links in the sidebar calendar widget to go to the calendar page.

I use the calendar on www.classicfilmfreak.com to announce birthdays, etc. It would be great to be able to integrate this with twitter.

@andrewteg, you can style the popup easily. Go to "Calendar Options" in the Admin area, and in the "Configure the stylesheet for Calendar" textarea locate this:

Code: Select all

.calnk a:hover span {
and add this to it:

Code: Select all

border: 1px solid black;
For a slightly different (cleaner) look create a new section (I put it just below the previously mentioned section) by adding this:

Code: Select all

.calnk a:hover > span {
        border: 1px solid black;

href link options

Unread post by tberneman » Tue Nov 09, 2010 3:11 pm

I would like to see an option for events with no link to either use "#" for the href (which is the default now) OR use "javascript:return null;" (or equivalent) which will do nothing. With the "#" href it flashes the page when it reloads and re-renders it.

I know this isn't quite up to the standards (with inline javascript) but I don't like the flashing. There may be a better alternative and hopefully you know of it or someone can post it here.

Hi there
How about the ability to click on an event and via iCAL add it to your calendar.

New feature: Stop an event for a specific time

For example:
I have an reoccuring event from 01.01.2010 to 01.06.2010 every Thuesday.
It is now the 01.04.2010. The event is cancelled for the next 2 weeks.

What do i have to do now? I have to delete the event and have to make a new one starting 14.04.2010 (just example).

It would be easier if i have an option to "pause" the event right in the options of it instead making a new one.

Hi and many thanks for this very useful plug-in !

One suggestion :
How about providing a utility to SIMPLY link a calendar Event with a Post ? or a Post to a calendar Event?

Re: Feature Requests / calendar for dashboard

It would be awesome to have the calendar able to view on the dashboard in addition to on the sidebar for multiple account holders to log-in and view :) I would absolutely love that
