upcoming events listing in different format possible?

Unread post by aikichick » Mon May 26, 2014 2:04 pm

hi there,

i have been using calendar for a while now and really like it, thank you! :-)

recently i discovered the upcoming events widget which i added into my footer. it works fine, but would it be possible to display events that last for more than one day in one instead of every single day being listed individually? example:

instead of:

20. Juni 2014
Peter Menke, Luzern all day

21. Juni 2014
Peter Menke, Luzern all day

22. Juni 2014
Peter Menke, Luzern all day

it would be great if instead it could be listed more like this:

20.-22. Juni 2014
Peter Menke, Luzern

thanks a lot in advance!

No answer at all? :-( Not even "No, this is not possible"?

I would also like to remove the "all day" from the upcoming events.

I would also like a line between each day, it looks bad with them all stuck together...

Can either of these be done?

Hi,

If you are still following this and are interested, I found a work around to remove the "all day"

Editing calendar/calendar.php in edit plugin section.

All day time:

Code: Select all

		$time_string = 'all day'.__('','calendar');
	      }
Removed "all day"

Code: Select all

		$time_string = ' '.__('','calendar');
	      }
I also did the same for "at" in the lines near it
