Upcomming events widget

The upcoming events widget , does not appear to take into account Themes options , I have a theme option that lets me limit the widget display to certain pages

In effect I only want the upcoming events widget to display on the home page in the content area

any possibility to add this functionality

So you've limited the pages on which it is supposed to show but it is showing on all of them?
