Minimum width of calendar and mobile use

Unread post by sackerly » Sun Jun 23, 2013 9:57 pm

Hi - the calendar seems too wide for some mobile platforms - it looks like the lengths of the days (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) limit the minimum width of the calendar.

Is there a way to reduce their length, or somehow make this mobile friendly?

This is a music event calendar, and many of our users are on mobile:

Thanks! It's a great plugin!

Tables do make this kind of thing a bit of an issue unfortunately. Have you tried the upcoming events list on a page using the {UPCOMING_EVENTS} tag? Perhaps that might work better for you.

I was wondering which setting in the CSS is to make it Mon, Tue, Wed, etc rather than Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc?

That won't be in CSS, but will involve changes to the PHP code in calendar.php. Search for Monday etc. in there and you can make changes.

Thanks. Finally got it working after a couple of false starts (PHP errors).

In the end, it is still too wide with iPhone. Damn it
