qTranslate and calendar

Unread post by kyros » Mon Aug 10, 2009 1:18 pm

Hi !

First, thank you for your usefull plugin, since I try it, I adopted it for my new project. ;)

I m building a multilanguage website, so I use also qTranslate for translation.

I have a small problem when I use functions into the sidebar :

Code: Select all

<?php echo todays_events_widget(); ?>
<?php echo upcoming_events_widget(3); ?>
The fact is there no translatation in the sidebar.

But in the main page when I use {CALENDAR}, it s alright, everythink is translated.

I also added this code, into the calendar.php to considere the selected language :

Code: Select all

if ($_GET['lang'] != 'en') {
	load_plugin_textdomain( 'calendar','wp-content/plugins/'.$plugin_dir, $plugin_dir);
	}
so Im here and I hope that you could help me, or give to me some directions.

Best,

Kyros

Calendar supports .mo translations. If you make use of this then the main calendar and the sidebar will be translated.

qTranslate can only translate page contents and as such will not touch the calendar sidebar widget or indeed any other widget.
