Re: Display current month

Very strange one this; please can you clarify how you added the calendar to the sidebar? Was it using the widget? Custom code in the theme? Just want to try and understand how the date is being set like this - ultimately the calendar is working, so somewhere some code is setting the starting date an...

Re: Calendar Widget in Multiple Sidebars

You can put them in multiple places using either short codes or direct php code calls, but not widgets - these can still only be used once

Re: Events and Displaying Timezones

I think the key may indeed lie there; I can always add a check in the plugin to see if that is set and flag a warning on the dash with a link to fix it, stating that Calendar needs it to function properly. I can then implement a solution the depends on that setting being there. Will try a few things...

Re: Events and Displaying Timezones

Thanks for the info and the patch - time zones are indeed tricky.

I feel there is a chance we can solve it properly if I setup the scenario properly; I'll try and setup my test environment with a non UTC zone on the server and your zone on the WordPress admin and see what I can come up with.

Re: Calendar Plugin Problems

Interesting, so that is clearly my plugin, however someone has made some changes to it to allow it to look the way it does, also to load the list and the month view on the same page, added some javascript etc. Did you make these changes? If not and you're not a coder yourself, can you get in touch w...

Re: Calendar Plugin Problems

Please provide me with a link to your site. I have tested the plugin with PHP 7.2, it's working fine here, so I'd need to see your specific issue

Re: Invalid value

For a page, you need to use shortcodes, such as

Code: Select all

[calendar type=”upcoming”]
For sidebars you can use the widget. I have both tested as working in WordPress 5.1

Re: Repeat events not working

Unfortunately this is exactly how it is designed to work; the option should really be read Repeat every Nth Tuesday, where N is the count of Tuesdays when the event first occurred This means that is isn't possible to choose the "last" of any day in the month for a repeat because, as you point out, s...

Re: Compatibility with PHP 7.2

Both my plugins (Calendar & Last FM) have been tested on a server running PHP 7.2 and found to be working fine. If your site doesn't work properly post upgrade, I suggest you check the errors file for any php lines and see what is amiss - it should be fairly clear what plugin etc. is causing any issue

Glad you like the plugin and thanks for spotting this and for providing a fix. I'll get this released out this evening!
