Horse in Hyde Park

I’m sure everyone has one of these moments where they think they have seen it all before, but this morning at 8:30am it was my turn. I saw a horse and cart in Hyde Park, no joke, although I was as surprised to see it as you will no doubt be to read about it! I grabbed some photo evidence in case there were any doubters.

Didn’t know the whole rag and bone concept still existed, its the kind of thing I was told about as a child as something that used to happen in “the good old days” Ah well, you learn something new every day – thanks for the info Niall 🙂

WOW!! Now there’s something I haven’t seen in years. We used to get one down our road every week, shouting out something that you couldn’t understand. We would run along side him shouting something backthat didn’t make any sense. Gone are the good old days where you could leave your fridge’s out for them!

I too thought they were a thing of the past. One of those traditions that make us so very English, and no I ain’t that old either before you say something 😉

Maybe you millionaires down south don’t have a rag and bone man anymore but up till about 5 years ago, the buses in Leeds were horse drawn.

Although I still doubt though. Your photo evidence is no good here, I recon it’s just clip art ;). (On your Linux version of MS Office).
