Critical Loads
Last night the load on the server that hosts kieranoshea.com went critical, so much so in fact that the server stopped serving web pages, and access was extremely limited. At this stage I have no idea what caused the high loads (and indeed is still causing slightly higher than normal loads), but I’m posting this so you are aware of why some of my network of sites went down last night, and that at this stage, nothing is certain with respect to uptime.

interesting that you should say this.
i’ve been testing some software that’s been working fine. since yesterday it hasn’t so i tried it out on another server and it still works fine. so i can only conclude that something has happened to the original server to affect it. don’t know what but that and your problems don’t bode well.
ah.. shouldn’t really be surprised though, considering events of late. 🙁

In case you are interested, there is a whole contingent of us over at the emergency support forums which went un-noticed by new management and have now been moved into an untouchable location by tony 😉 You might want to pop on over.
