Hi Kieran

How do I customise the form fields? My client wants to claim via GiftAid and they may need custom fields.

Ditto on the form message.... unless I'm being a bit thick here I can't find any way to edit the form or the message.

Cheers

Chris

There is no current way to edit the form or the message and I shall consider this a request for such functionality :)

For the time being though you'll have to make any required changes to donation.php

Thanks Kieran,

That seems pretty straightforward. Do I just edit/delete fields from the list? And can I add in more fields if I need them?

Also... Is it possible to edit out the donors and amounts - so that they don't appear on the donation page? I'm thinking my client might want to keep these details private.

Cheers

Chris

Removing fields would also require you to remove the code that validates to see if it's populated or not. Adding fields you'd need to add validation code and also add a column to the database table to allow the data to be stored. Fairly straight forward if you know your PHP, perhaps less so if you don't.

Amounts won't appear on the donation page, only donor and donor comment. If you wanted to remove these too you'd have to edit the file again and remove the code that adds that detail.

Ok, thanks

Seems pretty straightforward then if I keep the form the same length :-)
