Is there a way to call the calendar to a new page template much like you can with the headers, footers and sidebars?

Example:
<?php get_header(); ?>

{CALENDAR} doesn't work

Thanks,

Greg

Please only post in this Calendar forum with Calendar issues; the main support area is for customers of KJO Web Services. I have moved your post here so you don't have to repost.

What version of Calendar are you using?

I am testing your new beta version. But I would like to have a complete custom page that only pulls in the calendar.

I was able to use <?php echo calendar(); ?> to do it, but I wanted to make sure that wasn't going to be an issue. It seems to be working just fine that way, unless you intend to change it.

You are of course welcome to use it that way, indeed the previous version came bundled with a custom page and made a call to that function, so in some way it is still designed such that this can be done.

Assuming you haven't found the navigation between months to produce incorrect links etc. then you are safe in assuming that you can do what you are doing if you want - the ability to do that isn't going away.

Well, you are correct about the navigation between months not functioning.

It turns this:

blog/?page_id=5&month=jun&yr=2008

into this

blog/?month=jul&yr=2008

Which does screw things up. Any suggestions?

An update has been released to the beta this morning which fixes this issue; please subscribe to the comments on the blog post so you stay up to date with any fixes that might interest you. You can download it from the same link you got the beta from.

Thanks Kieran for your work on this one, all up and working.
Is it possible to turn off the css inclusion (include the code in the main style sheet or import a calendar css?
Also is it possible to have multi-day events colspan? Occasionally I need to cater for two overlapping multi-day events.
Thanks again

If you copy the CSS to your style sheet and then clear the CSS box on the calendar options page then it will no longer be included in the head.

Thanks Keiran, both for the reply and I would like you to know I have just set up a network of 17 WP sites, each had an individual calendar and an Upcoming Events in individual sidebars.

Good work and thanks again.
