Thanks for trying out Calendar and apologies you had problems with it. Also apologies for not replying to this sooner, its been pretty hectic here.

The 404 error can be caused by a .htaccess issue and I'm going to be fixing this in the next release as I'm going to provide an option to not use .htaccess and therefore people can circumvent any such problems by simply "switching it off"

The errors you are seeing on my site are odd; I've never seen any such errors and neither has anyone I've spoken to previously. I'll certainly look into it though. It may be that WordPress is issuing a 404 response but still serving up content. If this is the case then some browsers and configurations will not show content, others will show content fine. If this does turn out to be an issue with the plugin I will get it fixed in the next release.

Hi,
I really like the calendar, but I ended up deactivating it and deleting it when I had the same problems as Johan in the post above this one.

I also had the same problem accessing your calendar. I had to refresh my page a bunch of times (maybe 7 ot 8) for it to finally load your calendar page.

If there was a fix for this, I would use this Calendar plugin in a heartbeat.

 Thanks,
Mike

Hi,

Thanks for you calendar, it looks great. There's only one problem... after testing it and finding it ok, i continued adding entries and at a certain moment i got a 404 error when going to the calendar, while it worked perfect in the beginning. I don;t recall chaning anything in the settings.... Any idea what can help me? Thanks alot

So long as the .htaccess file for the install in a sub directory is located in the subdirectory and not the root then it will work. Otherwise you will need to modify the lines I indicate should be added to the .htaccess file.

The RewriteBase will be the reference point for my rules, as such if your wordpress is in a subdirectory and your RewriteBase is not /subdirectory/ my rules won't work properly.

If there is a specific example of this problem you feel I should look at because the above htaccess tweaks didn't help, please send me a copy of the .htaccess file and a link to the site in question on my e-mail address

I think there is a bug when you try loading it in a wordpress installation that is installed in a sub directory.

Otherwise good job on this!
