					<description>You'd have to speak to George for the exact reason, but as I understand it there was an issue with the people it had been cleared with so rather than being an unofficial small thing it ended up being presented before people who didn't want to take the responsibility or the time and so they vetoed it.</description>

					<description>I totally agree with you Kieran. I've actually just found out through your blog *currently checking news for more info*. I was really looking forward to this Linux Install Fest as I wanted to show, to those interested, the process of installing and configuring Xgl/Compiz and discussing it's features.

It's a fact that we are "living in a nanny state" where the law can be manipulated to point blame when something goes wrong!

I haven't been able to find anything on news as of yet... is it in the "local.compsoc.talk" thread?</description>
