Just to update this post; shameful though it is my reviews are still not finished, but I hope to get them online soon. As for my photos, as part of my new gallery system, they have now been published and are available on this link: http://www.kieranoshea.com/gallery/north-sea-jazz-06/

Thanks for your post! I am still writing the reviews but expect them to be live in the next day or so. i checked out your photos, I like the interesting ones from around Rotterdam - what are those odd shaped buildings?

As for your pictures of acts I had similar camera issues to you. I just couldn't hold the camera still enough with the correct exposure to get a clear image, so my pictures were either non-blurred but dark or correctly lit but blurred. The only act I succeeded in getting remotely good shots of was the Dizzy Gillespie All Star Band and that was because I was sitting down and was right near the front.

Will be interested to read your reviews and see your photos - I went this year as well (second time for me), and will almost certainly go again next year.

My photos (they are pretty terrible I have to warn you) are at http://www.matthewbest.plus.com/July2006
