Paperwork blitz
Over the past couple of days I’ve been making the most of being in a kind of limbo between resedences to sort through literally years of old paperwork, and for the majority of things that I have found I have wondered why I ever bothered to keep them in the first place, was putting them in the bin really that much harder for me than putting them in a storage box?
It does raise an interesting question about the kinds of people we are though. While I have always considered myself to be a very neat and tidy person, I do have a tendency to be tidy by packaging up whats untidy, which despite being completely illogical always seems to end up happening.
Not this week though. I actually overheated the shredder yesterday in an effort to dispose of things far more quickly than I should have done. I’ve got rid of an entire box of papers and hope to get through a couple more this week. I also popped round to my new house yesterday and sorted a few bits out there. While the paperwork blitz hasn’t yet started there it should do soon. My room has great views accross the city which should be great for the webcam and my sanity when the work gets a little tough. It’s very warm at the top of the house though, so warm in fact that I’m on the prowl for cheap air conditioners!
