					<description>Yes, it did have a surge protector, so it will be ok, its just a pain because I have to wait literally weeks before I can restart it. Its just a shame, as you say, that UPS devices are not that bit cheaper.</description>

it's surprising how many power cuts there are considering how 'stable' power supplies are supposed to be.

i suppose the only safe option is a 'ups', but thats going down an expensive route unfortunately.</description>
